Message from the President

The Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology is the association of Minnesota eye physicians and surgeons (Eye M.D.'s) looking out for your eye health.  We promote advancements in medical and surgical eye care, setting the standard for excellence.  We strive to educate and equip you to make informed decisions to improve and preserve your vision.

Your Eye M.D.'s have completed extensive training through medical school and further specialization in residency to best prepare them to serve as your eye health advocates.  From comprehensive examinations,  prescription eyeglasses or contacts, to the diagnosis of medical conditions or the treatment of surgical problems, your Eye M.D.'s are your complete eye care specialists.

For almost 100 years, the Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology, a non-profit organization, has been serving Minnesotans by encouraging and cultivating the study of, and research in, the branch of medical science known as ophthalmology.
